Stay safe and healthy, CIX!

All members of rising K-pop boy group CIX have tested negative for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Prioritizing CIX’s health and safety

Just recently, C9 entertainment released an official announcement regarding the idol group’s health and condition. “The CIX members were preemptively tested for coronavirus yesterday, April 5. As a result, all of them tested negative today,” the agency said.

The company also updated fans that the group received a confirmation to carry out all of their scheduled activities.

Assuring fans about the safety of their artists, the agency then shared, “C9 Entertainment will strictly adhere to all social distancing measures and work to take good care of our artists’ health conditions. We apologize for causing any concerns. We would like to thank all the fans for loving CIX as always. Thank you.”

On March 31, a greeting event for Seunghun’s movie Turn: The Street was held. A few days after, the agency revealed that an audience member from the event tested COVID-19 positive. Though the idol didn’t come into close contact with the confirmed case, the group chose to get preemptively examined and temporarily halted their activities.

CIX consists of members Bae Jin Young, BX, Yonghee, Seunghun, and Hyunsuk. They debuted in July 23, 2019 with their first mini-album Hello, Stranger

Meanwhile, CIX will meet their loving supporters, albeit virtually, through their upcoming fan meeting. Titled Blooming Day, the special party will take place on April 17.
