CONCERT RECAP: Super Junior Delivers Promise With Back-To-Back “Super Show 9: ROAD” Concert in Manila
Another Super Show to remember for PH E.L.Fs!
After four months since their last visit here to the Philippines, Super Junior finally returned to hold their two-day concert, SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 17 and 18.

Filipino E.L.Fs (Super Junior’s fandom) were excited to see Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun back on the Philippine stage again.

Getting the party started
Super Junior opened the concert show with “Burn The Floor.” They wore a white polo and black pants while holding onto a string tied to their hands. It was followed by Eunhyuk’s solo dance performance that led to “The Crown” number.
Heightening fans’ excitement at the venue, the group then performed “Super” and “Mr. Simple.”

The members of Super Junior are all happy to meet their Filipino fans who waited patiently after the postponement of their initial concert date last August. Soon after greeting the audience, Super Junior’s vocal sub-unit K.R.Y took the center stage to serenade fans while charismatic duo D&E delighted everyone with their hottest hits.

A memorable celebration
As a special gift to fans, Super Junior performed their latest song “Celebrate” from their 11th album Vol. 2: Celebration. To give back love to their favorite group, E.L.Fs also prepared a surprise by holding their “Celebrate” banners as they sing along with the members.
Adding fun to the party, the group showed their old renaissance selves as they bicker who among them is the “God of Music.” They wowed the crowd with an opera version of “SPY,” “Rokkugo,” and “Mamacita.”

For the next set, the idols showed the charms of Y2K era as they donned their denim outfits to perform “Latte,” “House Party,” “Wonderboy,” and “Let’s Dance.” Shortly after, they returned on stage with stylish fits to deliver performances of their hottest tracks “Black Suit,” “Bonamana,” and “Sorry Sorry.”
A promise to return
As the party nears its end, Super Junior took the opportunity to thank all their loving fans who came to celebrate with them during the two-day concert. Showing how much they appreciate all the support, the members did their best effort to interact closely with the crowd by getting closer to them and even taking photos and videos.

Wrapping up the concert with a sweet serenade of “White Love,” the members wished everyone a Merry Christmas and left a promise that they will come back next year in Manila. See you in Super Show 10!
