CRAVITY Showcases Duality With Performances At The 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon

CRAVITY truly owned the stage at the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon through their show-stopping performances!

From an incredible number for their debut song “Break all the Rules” to a special stage with girl group APRIL, CRAVITY showcased their duality through their performances at the recent event.

On December 25, the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon held its festive annual celebration, this time in Daegu. The event was attended by SEVENTEEN, BTS, TWICE, GOT7, MONSTA X, The Boyz, MAMAMOO, GFRIEND, Jessi, NU’EST, ATEEZ, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, Oh My Girl, IZ*ONE, TXT, APRIL, MOMOLAND, CRAVITY, TREASURE, aespa, and ENHYPEN.

For their stage number, Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung and Seongmin showcased synchronized and slick dance movements throughout their whole performance. They completely took everyone by surprise with the revamped version of “Break all the Rules”. From an impressive intro, the members showed their rookie spirit through dynamic dance and stable live singing skills.

This year’s ceremony specifically pays homage to the artists who have presented timeless and wonderful music throughout the years. In line with the celebration for Christmas, CRAVITY held a special collaboration with APRIL, and performed Fin.K.L.’s “White”.


Super Rookies of 2020

CRAVITY debuted in April with Break all the Rules” and has captivated global fans with its powerful energy and dynamic performances.

Through their following title track “Flame”, the group snagged their first music show win after 141 days since debut. Showing remarkable achievements after another, “Flame” also entered at #97 on Billboard K-pop 100 and became the first 2020 rookie group to enter the chart.

It doesn’t stop there. Even before their official debut in Japan, the group topped the weekly charts for Tower Records Albums Charts in Japan. They are later on dubbed as Super Rookies of 2020, as they continued sweeping numerous awards and recognitions at year-end awards ceremonies.

Just recently, they proved their global popularity by winning rookie awards at the 2020 Melon Music Awards, 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards and the 2020 Brand of the Year Awards.

They also won the “Potential Singer Award” at 2020 Asia Artist Awards and “New Star Award Male Artist” at 2020 Asia Model Awards. Most recently, they took home the “Best of Next” award at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards and “Next Leader” title at The Fact Music Awards 2020.

On the other hand, CRAVITY has started the countdown to their next comeback with a new album. They are set to release CRAVITY Season 3 Hideout: Be Our Voice on January 19 next year.
