Davichi To Go On A Domestic Tour To Celebrate 10th Anniversary
South Korean pop duo Davichi will celebrate its 10th anniversary through a domestic tour beginning in April.
Concert production company CJ E&M announced that the female duo, composed of Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung, would embark on a tour, entitled Davichi Live Tour “&10”, which was named after its third studio album.
The concert series will kick off on April 21 in Busan, marking Davichi’s first concert in the province after five years. On April 28, the duo will travel to Daegu to hold its first ever concert in the area.
Davichi will then wrap up its domestic tour in Seoul on May 5 and 6 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park.
Tickets are available via Interpark starting February 21.
Lee and Kang made their debut as Davichi on February 4, 2008, with the release of their studio album Amaranth and the promotional track “I Hate You, I Love You.”
The South Korean duo had a successful debut year. Lee and Kang were named “Best New Artist” at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, and Seoul Music Awards in 2008.
In its ten years in the industry, Davichi released three studio albums, including its most recent release &10 and six extended plays.
The duo has also made numerous soundtrack appearances for hit dramas such as Big, It’s Okay, That’s Love, Descendants of the Sun, and While You Were Sleeping.
