ENHYPEN prove themselves as the rookies to watch out for during 2021, as they receive praise from TIME for their success so far!
Rookie boy-group, ENHYPEN, continues to garner impressive attention from a multitude of foreign media press. In particular, TIME included the group in their article titled “6 Rookie K-Pop Groups to Watch in 2021”, illustrating their global popularity.
The American weekly publication noted the group’s admirable rise to fame even before their official debut. TIME stated that the ENHYPEN achieved impressive SNS followings due to the popularity gained during I-LAND, the survival program that formed the group through fan-voting.
Additionally, the article praised their title track “Given-Taken” and its lyrics that discuss the circumstances of their debut. The publication appreciated the unique perspective of the song that ruminates on whether the opportunity was “given” or “taken” as a result of hard work. Furthermore, the article compliments the sharp dancing skills of the members during the performance of “Given-Taken”, which only adds to its appeal.
