EXO’s Chanyeol To Sweeten April With Three Versions Of His First Official Solo Song “SSFW”

EXO’s Chanyeol will unveil his first official solo song titled “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter (SSFW)” on April 25 as part of the third season of SM Entertainment’s digital music project SM Station.

The entertainment company confirmed the release of the new single on April 16 through its social media channels, garnering excited cheers from EXO-L who were nothing but proud and hyped for the EXO member’s newest venture.

And as if coming out with a solo song is not enough, Chanyeol made sure to make it extra special by presenting “SSFW” in three versions — Korean, Chinese, and Japanese.

Through SM Station’s social media channels, the singer-actor expressed his nervousness and excitement for the new song.

According to him, the experience feels new as it is his first official solo release since his debut in 2012. He added that he is nervous and curious of people’s reactions. He then asked everyone to look forward to it and spend spring together.

Prior to “SSFW”, Chanyeol has displayed his vocal, rap, and songwriting skills through various releases including songs on EXO’s albums, his song “Delight” from Exology Chapter 1: The Lost Planet album and “Youngstreet” for Lee Guk Joo’s radio show.

He also impressed with his collaborations with fellow EXO members Chen for “If We Love Again” and Sehun for “We Young”, respectively. and with Junggigo for “Let Me Love You”. Moreover, the singer-actor served as featured artists for songs by Heize, Super Junior’s Henry, Zhou Mi, Yesung, Far East Movement, and Marshmello.

Additionally, he captured hearts with his original soundtrack appearances such as “Stay With Me” for Goblin, “I Hate You” for So I Married An Anti-Fan, and “Last Hunter” for Law of the Jungle.
