EXO’s D.O To Gift Fans With A Solo Track Ahead Of Military Enlistment

Before he officially begins his mandatory military service, D.O of K-Pop boy group EXO will first give fans a memorable parting gift with the upcoming release of his solo track.

According to recent reports, Do Kyung Soo (D.O’s given name) will be releasing his solo song through SM Station. Soon after, his agency SM Entertainment has likewise confirmed the exciting news by saying, “D.O. recently finished recording his solo track. It will be released through SM STATION.”

Notably, it will be the idol’s first single track in almost five years since he last participated in the OST of movie Cart, where he also appeared in 2014.

On May 30, the idol-actor announced that he will join the boot camp soon to start his military service. Specifically, together with his agency, they revealed that he will officially begin his service as an active duty soldier on July 1.

As soon as the news about his enlistment circulated, the talented vocalist of EXO took to their group’s official fan café to express his love to EXO-Ls. In his post, he sent his apologies to fans for not having been the first person to inform them about it as he intended. The singer likewise assured everyone that he will return safely and healthy.

With just more than a week before he fulfills his duty, D.O becomes the second member of the boy group to enlist following his hyung Xiumin.
