NewJeans is two years old today, and it feels like a dream!

The girl group commemorated their anniversary by reflecting on their incredible journey so far, and guess what? Their Tokyo Dome fan meeting in Japan takes the crown for the most unforgettable stage.

“It seems like just yesterday we debuted,” the group shared through their agency Ador. They acknowledge the constant evolution, stating, “Just when we feel comfortable on stage, a new challenge awaits.” But they face it head-on, adding, “There will be more challenges, but together as NewJeans, we can conquer anything!“

Their achievements are undeniable! Breaking records and achieving a successful Japanese debut at Tokyo Dome last month, they became the fastest foreign artist to grace the iconic venue (just 1 year and 11 months after debut!). The two-day event drew nearly 100,000 fans, their every move and song leaving a lasting impression.

Hani, who captivated audiences with her cover of Matsuda Seiko’s “Blue Coral Reef,” shared, “I think I’ve truly found enjoyment in what I do. Preparing for our Japan debut was such a rewarding experience. It was a chance to showcase ourselves in a new country, and the opportunity to perform on new stages filled me with happiness.” Hani also emphasized, “The Tokyo Dome fan meeting stands out as the most memorable moment. However, the individual preparation and practice leading up to it also hold a special place in my heart.”

Minzy echoes the sentiment, stating, “There are so many incredible moments, but right now, the Tokyo Dome fan meeting is the most vivid. Spending time with our music-loving Bunnys (fandom name) felt like a dream come true.”

Looking back, the past two years have been a period of immense growth for the group.
