G-Dragon
has just released a special preview video for Missing You from his first solo mini album, One Of A Kind.

Missing You is described to be the least explicit song in the album. The track is a love song about longing for a person after a break-up and is said to have an overall easy melody, similar to that of pop music from previous generations. The song will have a warm feeling and include whistling and many other sounds that have been popular in the past.

When asked about his thoughts on writing the melody of the track, G-Dragon’s interpretation of the song was: “I feel gloomy, but there is no one to talk to.” He also reveals that the song is about feeling hurt and lonely from the departure of a partner who has been with there for a long time.

Missing You is a collaborative song that includes the vocalization of Jaurim‘s Kim Yoona. The track was arranged and written by Choi Pil Kang and was written by Choi, G-Dragon, and Teddy Park. The lyrics for the song were written by G-Dragon, with the guidance of Teddy Park.

The track will be released online on 15 September and will be physically released on the 18 September. Watch the video below to check out G-Dragon’s interview, as well as a short preview of Missing You.
