GFRIEND prepares to dominate the Japanese music market with their soon-to-be-released tracks!

K-Pop girl group GFRIEND announced the upcoming release of their Japanese digital singles in two consecutive weeks this coming October.

Source Music delivered the exciting news on September 11, via GFRIEND’s official Japanese website and social media channels.

The Japanese singles — “回:LABYRINTH- Crossroads” and “回:Song of the Sirens “Apple” –  will be released on October 14 and October 21, respectively.

回:LABYRINTH- Crossroads will consist the Japanese versions of “Labyrinth” and “Crossroads”. Those two tracks came from the group’s eighth mini album Labyrinth, released last February.

Meanwhile, 回:Song of the Sirens Apple will feature “Apple” and “Tarot Cards” from their latest ninth mini-album Song of the Sirens, which came out in July.

This marks as the group’s new Japanese release since its first full-length album Fallin’ Light, which came out in November last year.

Blooming Japan Career

GFRIEND debuted in Japan in 2018 in partnership with King Records, a leading Japanese record company. Thereafter, the group has released three singles (“Memoria”, “Sunrise”, “Flower”) and a full-length album (Fallin’ Light).

Since then, GFRIEND has been receiving great response from the public. Further demonstrating their global power, the group has received the “Best 3 New Artist” at the 33rd Japan Gold Disc Awards in 2019.
