(G)I-DLE Announces Their Highly-Anticipated Summer Comeback With “DUMDi DUMDi”

Oh my god, (G)I-DLE just dropped some exciting news!

(G)I-DLE took to their SNS and released an intriguing teaser that left Neverland all over the world curious and confused.

The girl group’s animated and colorful teaser showed a slot machine that hit a jackpot when “DDDD” appeared on it.  While the teaser evidently excited fans, it left them wondering if the clip was indeed a sign of a comeback or if it was an announcement of some upcoming show. 

Before the threads spun around and added to the overall confusion, (G)I-DLE made the official announcement that everyone was waiting for. The group cracked the code for everyone and deciphered the “DDDD.” The girls then revealed a bright and eye-catching poster announcing their comeback single “DUMDi DUMDi,” which will be released on various music platforms on August 3 at 6 PM KST.

The femme fatale group further announced that they will also drop the Japanese version of the said track on the same day. It may possibly become part of their 2nd Japanese mini-album Oh my God as well.

Recently, the girl group has been trending with their latest eclectic track. Composed by Minnie and Yuqi, the song “i’M THE TREND” has been garnering rave reviews from fans. The track was first unveiled during their I-LAND: WHO AM I concert that was held on July 5. 

Meanwhile, in related news, (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon will be collaborating with Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon alongside rapper Loopy soon.

Moreover, before the K-pop sextet charms fans with their charismatic comeback, they will first delight fans with their new show Never Ending Neverland starting July 21. It will air on the CUBE TV and the group’s official YouTube channel as well.
