Golden Child Mesmerizes With First Concept Teasers For “Pump It Up”
Golden Child put a start to the concept images and trailers by releasing the first version.
10-member group Golden Child just recently started counting down towards its comeback. The idols unveiled the first concept for the single Pump It Up, which garnered fans’ excitement.
On September 28, Woollim Entertainment shared version A images of the boys’ new album. In them, the members radiated a subtle atmosphere between boys and men. Specifically, the members’ drew attention with their perfect visuals and style, which showcased their unique individualities.
In addition, their agency uploaded a special trailer which focused on the same concept. The boys showed fresh boyish looks and expressions, while at the same time exuding deep masculine beauty. Curiosity is rising for the following two versions which will be released sequentially.
The comeback title track “Pump It Up” is an up-tempo dance piece, which delivers the excitement one feels when seeing something they like. Furthermore, the unique witty lyrics and song composition hint at the stage which Golden Child will present.
“Pump It Up” is the work of composer MosPick, who also created the group’s debut track “DamDaDi”. Further drawing attention is the fact members Tag and Jangjun participated in the rap writing.
Golden Child’s Rising Popularity
The group released its fourth mini-album Take A Leap back in June, which showed great success. It immediately ranked at the top of many music sites in Korea, showcasing the idols’ growing reputation.
Also, the title track “ONE(Lucid Dream)” recorded number 1 on Cambodia and Israel’s iTunes Top K-Pop album chart. The song further proved its fame by being selected in the TOP5 in seven overseas countries. Those included Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Russia, Canada and Japan.
Likewise, the music video proved Golden Child’s global popularity, surpassing 15 million views in just three days after its release.
Meanwhile, Golden Child is scheduled to release its second single album Pump It Up on October 7 at 6 PM KST.
