Golden Child Members Daeyeol, Y, Seungmin, Jaehyun, and Donghyun Part Ways with Woollim Entertainment

Golden Child sees a significant shift as five more members conclude their contracts with Woollim Entertainment.

In a heartfelt announcement, Woollim Entertainment revealed that five members of Golden Child—Daeyeol, Y, Seungmin, Jaehyun, and Donghyun—will depart the agency at the end of their contracts on December 31. This marks a significant change for the group, which debuted in 2017 and has captured fans’ hearts worldwide with their versatile music and performances.

The announcement comes shortly after the departure of members Bomin, TAG, and Jibeom in August, leaving only Jangjun and Joochan under Woollim Entertainment’s management.

Woollim Entertainment shared the following statement:

“The exclusive contracts of Golden Child members Lee Daeyeol, Y, Bae Seungmin, Bong Jaehyun, and Kim Donghyun will come to an end on December 31. We have had extensive and thoughtful discussions with the members of Golden Child about their future and the direction of their activities. After much in-depth dialogue, we have mutually agreed to conclude their exclusive contracts.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Golden Child, who has been dedicated and hard-working since 2017 to present a variety of music to their fans. We sincerely wish the members of Golden Child the very best throughout the future. We also would like to thank our fans for their unwavering support for Golden Child.

We kindly ask for your continued love and encouragement for the members of Golden Child as they take their first steps into the future.”
