Golden Child’s TAG Temporarily Suspends Activities Due To Health Reasons

Send your well-wishes now to one of your favorite idols, GOLDENNESS. Member TAG has decided to halt his activities to focus on recovering his health. 

Woollim Entertainment has recently made an important announcement regarding the current health condition of one of its gifted and well-rounded artists, Golden Child’s TAG.

On the afternoon of May 23, the agency released an official statement saying that the lovely idol is not feeling well recently. They said that TAG has already consulted an expert and has decided to follow it for his complete recovery.

He was admitted to the hospital on the morning of May 18 where he received a close examination.

“TAG was diagnosed with poor liver condition from the initial test results, but through ongoing examinations and treatment from medical staff, his current test results and health status have improved a lot,” Woollim Entertainment explained.

Considering that the expert’s medical advice and TAG’s stability are their top priorities, the agency added that for the time being, they will solely focus on doing everything they can for their artist’s fast recovery. Moreover, Golden Child will temporarily carry out their upcoming activities, in addition to their U.S. tour, with eight members.

“We want to apologize for worrying many fans with such sudden news. We will do our best for TAG’s quick recovery,” Woollim Entertainment concluded.

GOLDENNESS BEING THERE FOR TAG

Soon after the news came out, fans from all over the world immediately sent their words of comfort and well-wishes to one of their beloved idols. TAG immediately took over Twitter’s Trending list, along with the hashtag “GetWellSoonTAG.”

Meanwhile, Golden Child recently made their highly-awaited Japanese comeback in May 11 with their second single “Rata-Tat-Tat.” In conjunction with the song’s release, the group held a held a two-day showcase in Tokyo on April 30 and May 1 at the Maihama Amphitheater.
