Hyolyn Joins July Comeback Lineup With A Brand New Album

Fresh from Queendom 2, talented soloist Hyolyn is now preparing for an exciting comeback taking place next month!

Hyolyn recently delivered a wonderful surprise to her fans with the announcement of her highly awaited comeback this July.

On June 3, bridʒ Entertainment announced that the multitalented soloist is gearing up to make a July comeback with a new album.

“In keeping with her title as the original summer queen, Hyolyn will be making her first summer return in about two years. What she’s preparing will go beyond the performances she showed on Queendom 2, so please give her lots of interest and encouragement,” the agency stated.

Other details regarding Hyolyn’s return, such as the title of the lead single and album, concept, and official return date will surely be revealed in the following days.

A COMEBACK WORTH THE WAIT

The upcoming comeback will mark the artist’s return in six months since she released her single “Layin’ Low,” featuring singer-songwriter Jooyoung.

Hyolyn’s upcoming offering marks her latest album since she released her second EP, Say My Name, in August 2020. Spearheaded by the title track of the same name, the album garnered positive responses from K-Pop fans around the world.

Apart from bearing her previously released singles “Dally”, “See Sea” and “BAE,” Say My Name also includes Hyolyn’s autobiographical song, “9Lives,” whose performance was greatly praised for its incredible and meaningful artistic expression.

As proof of its success, the album entered the Gaon Album Chart in 2020. Additionally, all its singles dominated Gaon’s Streaming Chart and Download Chart.

With these accolades, expectations are now rising regarding what kind of image and sound the artist will present in her grand return, especially after she left a great impression on viewers with Queendom 2.

Hyolyn swept the fourth spot in the final episode of the show with her song, “Waka Boom (My Way), and a total of 48,761 points.
