Get ready! These K-Pop idols return from military service sooner than you think!

Parting is such sweet sorrow, but for fans of Baekhyun, Shownu, and Taemin, the wait is almost over. After nearly twenty-two months (some less, of course), here are fifteen idols expected to return before the end of 2023!

Baekhyun | EXO

Baekhyun began his military enlistment on May 6, 2021, and will complete his service on February 5, 2023. Plus, it has already been confirmed that EXO will return in mid-2023 with a full comeback!

Taemin | SHINee

Taemin began his military enlistment on May 31, 2021, and will complete his service on February 4, 2023. Who’s ready for the next “SHINee’s back?”

Shownu | MONSTA X

Shownu began his military enlistment on July 22, 2021, and will complete his service on April 21, 2023. MONBEBE are already eagerly awaiting the group’s next comeback/tour announcement as OT6.

Young K | Day 6

Young K began his military enlistment on March 21, 2022, and will complete his service on September 20, 2023.

MK | ONF

MK began his military enlistment on December 21, 2021, and will complete his service on June 20, 2023. ICYMI, all the Korean members of ONF enlisted within a week of each other, so they could get their military enlistment done in one go.

J-Us | ONF

J-Us began his military enlistment on December 27, 2021, and will complete his service on June 26, 2023. J-Us recently went viral alongside fellow member E-Tion and SF9’s Inseong for their cover performance of NewJeans’ “Hype Boy.”

Wyatt began his military enlistment on December 27, 2021, and will complete his service on June 26, 2023.

E-Tion| ONF

Hyojin| ONF

Inseong began his military enlistment on March 21, 2022, and will complete his service on September 20, 2023. Thankfully, his “Inseong Monthly” videos have been holding FANTASY over until his return.

Youngbin | SF9

Youngbin began his military enlistment on March 29, 2022, and will complete his service on September 28, 2023. He regularly shares updates of him with his fellow members of SF9, including Inseong, on his Instagram.

Daeyeol | Golden Child

Youngbin began his military enlistment on March 29, 2022, and will complete his service on September 28, 2023.

Byeongkwan | A.C.E

Byeongkwan began his military enlistment on April 11, 2022, and will complete his service on October 10, 2023.

MJ | ASTRO

MJ began his military enlistment on May 9, 2022, and will complete his service on November 8, 2023. It’s important to note he is one of two members yet to renew his contract with Fantagio.
