The agency had everyone up until midnight as they dropped a new prologue film introducing their new girl group, ITZY. The film provided the first look into the charisma of the five-member girl group, which consists of Yuna, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Lia, and Yeji.

The one-minute and ten-second video vivaciously presented the five girls, whose visuals popped out thanks to the film’s vibrant colors. Though they are yet to make their debut, some of the members’ names or faces may have seemed familiar to you. And that’s because you’ve already met them before.

Ryujin participated and ended up winning on the jTBC reality show MIXNINE where she was known by her full name, Shin Ryujin. Meanwhile, Yeji appeared on SBS’ The Fan, where she also went by her full name Hwang Yeji. Lastly, Chaeryeong was part of SBS’ K-Pop Star 3 and JYP Entertainment’s reality survival show collaboration with Mnet, Sixteen. She joined the show along with members of now-sister group TWICE.

JYP Entertainment confirmed on January 14 that the girl group had already filmed their debut music video and is currently working hard to prepare for their debut. However, the group’s debut date is still yet to be announced.

Following the release of the prologue film, the agency also set up official social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Naver V Live, as well as a website for the group.
