IU Excites Fans With Upcoming “Love Wins” Comeback

After two years, IU is making her music return!

After the announcement of pre-released single, “Love Wins”, a teaser poster was unveiled featuring BTS member V.

It has been about 2 years and 1 month since Pieces released on December 29, 2021. Since IU has been loved by people of all ages and genders, each song she releases becomes a ‘mega hit’. Attention is already focused on the transformation she will show when “Love Wins” debuts on January 24.

Subsequently, at midnight on January 16, EDAM Entertainment released the main poster for the pre-released song “Love Wins” through the official SNS channel.

The main poster released features IU and BTS member V sitting in front of each other. IU is seen taking pictures of V with her camcorder in a place looking uninhabited for a long time.
In particular, it raises questions about what the phrase ‘To a place that my poor imagination cannot imagine’ means to this song and what kind of story the two people have.

Notably, “Love Wins” attracted a lot of attention even before its release as it was announced that director Uhm Tae-hwa, who not only starred V but also attracted 3.84 million viewers with the movie Concrete Utopia released last year and garnered both box office and critical acclaim, would take the lead in directing.
