IVE Scores First 2026 Perfect-All-Kill With Pre-Release Track ‘BANG BANG,’ Proving Their Chart Power Once Again

IVE has done it again. The self-proclaimed “MZ wannabe icon” group — An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Leeseo — clinched their sixth Perfect All-Kill (PAK) with pre-release single “BANG BANG,” marking the first PAK of 2026.

On Feb. 24, their agency Starship Entertainment confirmed that “BANG BANG,” from IVE’s second full-length album REVIVE+, simultaneously topped major domestic music charts, officially achieving Perfect All-Kill status. The milestone makes “BANG BANG” the first song released in 2026 to sweep all major Korean charts — and IVE’s sixth career PAK.

According to chart trackers, the track dominated real-time, daily, and Top 100 charts across Melon, Genie, Flo, Vibe, and Bugs, while also ranking No. 1 on YouTube Music Korea’s weekly popular songs chart (Feb. 13–19).

The latest achievement follows IVE’s previous PAK hits: “After LIKE” (2022), “Kitsch,” “I AM,” and “Baddie” (2023), and “REBEL HEART” (2025), further cementing their reputation as digital heavyweights.

“BANG BANG” delivers a bold, self-empowering message about forging your own path without being shaken by rumors or outside judgment. Built on a high-energy EDM and electronic foundation, the track opens with a striking Western swing-inspired intro before launching into punchy, straightforward beats — showcasing a broader and more adventurous musical spectrum for the group.

The performance has also fueled the song’s explosive momentum. Pairing fast-paced EDM with powerful choreography, IVE introduced instantly recognizable moves such as the shoulder-swaying “Shoulder Dance,” the hand-driven “Keyring Dance” mimicking headbanging, and the dramatic back-bending “Ayaya Dance.” These catchy point moves have sparked viral challenges across platforms, including TikTok, amplifying the track’s global buzz.

Meanwhile, IVE officially kicked off comeback promotions on Feb. 23 with the release of REVIVE+. Expanding their long-built narrative of self-confidence from “me” to “us,” the album and its title track “BLACKHOLE” have quickly secured top spots on domestic and international charts — signaling not just IVE’s present dominance, but the next phase of their evolution.
