J-Hope’s New Album Sweeps Top Spots On Billboard Charts
More volumes for HOPE ON THE STREET, please?!
According to the latest chart released by Billboard (as of April 13), the special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 released by BTS J-Hope on March 29 settled on the main chart. It entered the Billboard 200 at number 5.
J-Hope first entered the ‘Billboard 200’ based on solo albums with the mixtape Hope World released in 2018. Following his first solo album Jack In The Box released in 2022, he has been listed on this chart three times in a row including this album, and broke his own Billboard 200 highest ranking with HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1.
HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 also ranked first in the World Album. This album ranked second in Top Album Sales and Top Current Albums, behind American pop star Beyonce’s new album Cowboy Carter.
The album title song “NEURON (with Gaeko, Yoon Mi-rae)” was ranked 1st on World Digital Song Sales, 5th on Digital Song Sales, 38th on Global (excluding the U.S.), and 84th on Global 200.

The popularity of the songs included in the album also stands out. In particular, in ‘World Digital Song Sales’, “NEURON” took the top spot, “i wonder… (with Jung Kook of BTS)” (2nd place), “on the street (solo version)” (3rd place)’, “i ‘don’t know (with Heo Yun-jin of LE SSERAFIM)” (4th place) and “what if… (dance mix with JINBO the SuperFreak)” (5th place). The songs in the album swept the 1st to 5th places. ‘i wonder…’, which Jungkook featured in, was also ranked in ‘Digital Song Sales’ (12th) and ‘Global (excluding the US)’ (132nd).
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s solo album GOLDEN ranked 154th on the ‘Billboard 200’ and stayed on this chart for 22 consecutive weeks, continuing the record of being the longest-charting work by a K-pop solo singer.
