K-Pop Global Fandom Platform UNIVERSE Surpassed 1 Million Pre-Orders

Pre-orders for the global K-pop entertainment platform UNIVERSE has surpassed 1 million!

On December 8, NCsoft Corp. and KLAP Co., Ltd. announced that pre-orders for the entertainment platform UNIVERSE, which is currently preparing for its launching, already exceeded one million as of December 7 (at 1 PM KST) and is showing a steady rise.

UNIVERSE has opened its pre-order since November 12. K-pop fans from 186 countries around the world, including Korea, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Brazil, have been actively participating.

The platform will hit the global markets in early 2021. They will release details of the special rewards it offers only to pre-orders on December 16.

Earlier, UNIVERSE unveiled its lineup of participating artists during its pre-order opening. This includes IZ*ONE, Kang Daniel, THE BOYZ, MONSTA X, Park Ji-hoon, CIX, ASTRO, AB6IX, ATEEZ, (G)I-DLE, and WJSN.  Other participating artists will be added after its official launch next year.


Universe is a multi-platform that allows users to enjoy various online and offline fandom activities on mobile devices and will provide different enjoyable functions through combining IT technologies and entertainment contents such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) voice synthesis, motion capture, and character scanning.

“As the teams leading the K-pop meet on UNIVERSE, we will present a new K-POP entertainment platform to global fans that is available in 186 countries around the world, including the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and Indonesia, as well as South Korea,” said Kim Jung-ha, head of NCsoft.
