Lisa Rises Steadily On UK’s Official Singles Chart With “MONEY”

By  |

Lisa continuously climbs up the UK’s Official Singles Chart Top 100 with her track, “MONEY”.

Lisa continues receiving an immense wave of worldwide support for her solo debut single album, LALISA. Now, the artist makes impressive moves on the UK’s Official Singles Chart Top 100, as her song “MONEY” continues its steady rise on the chart for its second consecutive week.

The song first entered the chart at position 81, and now lands in rank 59 according to the chart on October 15. Since its initial entry on the chart last week, “MONEY” rose 22 places. The quick advance of the track on the chart indicates Lisa’s power as an artist in addition to BLINKS’ fan-power.

This marks the first time a song released by a K-Pop female solo act lands on the Top 100 Official Singles Chart in the UK, as well as the U.S Billboard. The achievement is even more impressive considering this record was reached without local promotions.

With her recent project, Lisa finds a sustained, long-term success. Prior to “MONEY” landing on the charts, the title “LALISA” ranked in position 68 on the UK’s Top 100 Official Singles Chart within its first week of release. The milestone was a historical moment for the chart, which usually features mainstream pop, to now reflect the popularity of a hip-hop/rap song by a K-Pop female soloist.

“MONEY” continues to reach new heights on global music charts. Lisa was the first to top the Billboard’s “Rap Digital Song Sales Chart” and recently made it to seventh place on Spotify’s Global Chart.

Additionally, Lisa’s performance video for the song exceeded 100 million views in only 15 days. Though it was not an official music video, it still dominated YouTube’s worldwide trends and steadily approaches 20 million views.

Further Projects To Anticipate

Meanwhile, Lisa continues to delight fans with the promise of more music activities.

The idol will contribute to DJ Snake’s upcoming song called, “SG”. The track will also feature global artists such as Ozuna and Megan Thee Stallion. As such, fans are looking forward to hearing what such a grand collaboration will produce.

The track will release on October 22 for fans across the world.
