MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul Reveals More Details On Her Upcoming Solo Debut
All-rounder rapper Moonbyul is debuting solo soon!
MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul is confirmed to make her anticipated debut as a solo artist this May.
According to Rainbow Bridge World, the rapper will release her first solo album on May 23. The agency added that the MAMAMOO member has channeled a lot of efforts in order to show fans a unique album. She is revealed to have participated in the rap making of all of the songs.
Entitled Selfish, the upcoming album will be Moonbyul’s first solo album since debuting with MAMAMOO in 2014.
Earlier reports said that the rapper has tapped the help of her Idol Drama Operation Team co-star, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, for her album. The Red Velvet member reportedly filmed a music video last month with the rapper.
Expectations are high for Moonbyul’s solo album as she has continuously displayed her many talents particularly in rapping and song writing.
She has written songs for her group as well as for the original soundtrack of Idol Drama Operation Team.
She has also featured in tracks including Yoo Sung Eun’s “Nothing”.
In 2017, she released a solo song “Love and Hate” as part of the tracklist of MAMAMOO’s fifth mini album Purple.
