The Neighbors Club is a stature awarded to those who have made significant contributions of at least 10 million won (approximately $8,380) a year to the international humanitarian NGO and who provide aid in various meaningful activities to help and support those in need. Other esteemed members of The Neighbors Club include So Ji Sub, Kim Hyun Joo, Go Ara, and Lee Seung Chul.

In March, MONSTA X set an example and made a donation of 100 million won ($83,478.08 USD) to Good Neighbors. The gesture was made to help those in need in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province regions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Their fan club Monbebe followed suit and stepped up voluntarily to make their own donations.

On this basis, MONSTA X was contacted by Good Neighbors who invited the idols to join The Neighbors Club. The members of the group lovingly expressed their wish to have Monbebe join them as well.

Thereby, both MONSTA X and Monbebe have joined The Neighbors Club together. The members asserted their sincere love for their fans. MONSTA X stated, “We wish to share the love we have received from fans with those in need.”

Meanwhile, the sextet have received a lot of accolades and appreciation for their recently released mini-album FANTASIA X. Fans specially lauded the group’s intense energy and powerful performance of their title song “FANTASIA”.

Besides that, MONSTA X’s seventh Japanese single “Wish on the same sky” released in April this year, ranked first in the Japan’s Tower Record’s Top K-Pop Singles Top 10 for the first half of 2020 chart as well.

As of now, the group is gearing up to host their online MONSTA X Live From Seoul With Luv concert through the American video streaming platform LiveXLive August 9.
