“MORE & MORE” Becomes TWICE’s Fastest Music Video To Hit 100 Million YouTube Views
A brand-new personal best for TWICE!
Raking amazing accolades left and right, Asia’s top girl group TWICE has bagged a new achievement with their latest music release.
Just recently, the K-Pop nonet’s music video for “MORE & MORE” has surpassed the 100-million mark on YouTube.
In addition, it has officially become the fastest music video of the group to achieve the said milestone. Particularly, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Sana, Momo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu were able to hit the massive count in only 12 days and 22 hours after its successful worldwide release on June 1 at 6 PM KST.
Previously, the girls’ hit track “Feel Special” held the fastest record to surpass 100 million YouTube views. The music video took 21 days to reach the milestone.
Following their hit songs “Like OOH-AHH”, “Cheer Up”, “TT”, “Knock Knock”, “Signal”, “Likey”, “Heart Shaker”, “What is Love?”, “Dance the Night Away”, “YES or YES”, the Japanese single “Candy Pop”, “FANCY”, and “Feel Special”, “MORE & MORE” became TWICE’s 14th music video to join the 100-million club on YouTube.
Other recent feats
Aside from its YouTube success, TWICE’s latest comeback gave impressive feats for the girls. As of now, their title track “MORE & MORE” has already won five trophies from various music shows. They now hold the honor of being the K-pop girl group with the most wins with an overall 102 trophies.
The group’s mini-album MORE & MORE also dominated the iTunes Top Albums charts in 30 countries. Additionally, it impressively topped the major realtime charts including Bugs, Genie, Melon, Naver Music, and Soribada. On June 9, TWICE also achieved a new record as their mini-album debuted on Billboard 200.
Moreover, JYP Entertainment’s prized nonet has been hailed as the leading female idol group for the brand reputation rankings in June.
