N.Flying Ignites a “Flashback” Revival on Music Shows

N.Flying is riding a wave of renewed buzz as they return to music show stages with their resurfacing track “Flashback.”

The band, Lee Seung-hyub, Cha Hun, Kim Jae-hyun, Yoo Hwe-seung, and Seo Dong-sung, is set to perform the song on KBS2’s Music Bank on April 3, following earlier teasers of their appearance in the program’s “Next Week” lineup aired on the 27th.

Originally released in 2021 as part of their first full-length album Man on the Moon, “Flashback” is a heartfelt rock ballad co-written and composed by Lee Seung-hyub and Yoo Hwe-seung. With its gentle string arrangements and the band’s signature emotional tone, the song captures a deep sense of longing—especially the kind that lingers when someone is gone for good. Its poetic lyrics, woven with the passage of time and changing seasons, leave a lasting emotional imprint.

What makes this resurgence remarkable is its timing. Nearly five years after its release, “Flashback” is finding new life, proving N.Flying’s enduring musical appeal. A recently viral live performance video has fueled the track’s climb back into the spotlight, gaining traction across major Korean streaming platforms like Melon, Genie, FLO, and Vibe.

This isn’t the band’s first chart-reversal success. Back in 2019, “Rooftop” famously soared up the charts long after its release. Now, “Flashback” is following a similar path, reinforcing N.Flying’s reputation as a band that thrives on rediscovery.

Fresh off their successful 2026 fan meeting U.S.A.H.: Let’s Talk About Small Things—their first in Korea in eight years—N.Flying continues to strengthen their bond with fans. Next stop: Taipei, where they’ll meet international fans on April 11 and 12.
