Top Spots On Charts And Personal Records Accomplished By NCT DREAM For “RELOAD”
NCT DREAM has impressively swept various charts and records for their latest comeback!
NCT DREAM rode the top of charts and rolled out record-breaking feats for their recent return with the mini-album RELOAD and its lead track “Ridin'”!
The boy group continues to soar to greater heights as they achieve another string of success with their comeback last April 29.
On the morning before it was released online and offline at 6 PM KST, SM Entertainment announced that RELOAD has recorded over half a million pre-orders as of April 28, showing the power of NCT DREAM which has become even stronger.
Through this accomplishment, RELOAD also secured the highest first-day sales among all NCT albums. Although its final first week sales record on Hanteo is still being tallied, it has already amassed a cumulative sales of 374,165 copies on April 29, making it land the number one spot on the Daily Physical Album chart on its release date.
Moreover, RELOAD showed an approximate growth rate of over 200% in initial sales record compared to NCT DREAM’s previous mini-album We Boom.
Fans’ overflowing support to the group was also seen in how “Ridin'” broke numerous personal records in domestic digital streaming charts upon its release.
Entering at number four, the title track for RELOAD officially became the highest debut for all NCT songs on Melon’s realtime chart. Upon climbing up to number three, the group shared their delight by posting a clip of their excited reactions and celebration for the song’s domestic chart success.

However, their feat did not stop there. Around 1 AM KST of April 30, “Ridin'” successfully grabbed the number one spot on Melon’s realtime chart, making it the first-ever NCT song to do so. All of the songs from their mini-album also successfully ranked on the chart’s top ten within 24 hours of its release.
RELOAD also topped various domestic music charts, including Synnara Record, Kyobo Bookstore, and Yes24, confirming the power of NCT DREAM once again.
Aside from its soaring success in South Korea, RELOAD and “Ridin'” also gained huge global popularity. The mini-album topped the iTunes charts in a total of 49 countries upon its release.
These countries are namely the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Norway. It also includes Poland, Finland, Belgium, Russia, Estonia, Australia, Portugal, Colombia, and Romania.
The song also topped iTunes charts in Costa Rica, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Lebanon, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, India, and Indonesia. Moreover, it soared at number one as well in Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Hungary, and Malaysia.
RELOAD also garnered huge success by topping iTunes charts in the Philippines, Singapore, Laos, Qatar, Slovakia, Panama, and Kazakhstan.
Aside from iTunes, the album also topped the digital album sales chart on China’s largest music site QQ Music. Its title track “Ridin” also topped the music video chart for QQ Music’s K-Pop category, once again showing the hot global interest in NCT DREAM.
As of May 1 at 2 PM KST, the music video for “Ridin'” has already surpassed 8.9 million views.
