NiziU To Debut In Korea With New Single Album

JYP Entertainment’s girl group NiziU will unveil a new single album Press Play on October 30 and make its official debut in Korea.

JYP surprised fans by revealing the teaser video of “Press Play” Trailer’ on NiziU’s official SNS channel at midnight on October 2.

In the video, NiziU confirms the release of its first single “Press Play” on October 30 at 6 PM and takes its first step into the domestic music industry.

The released trailer video captures attention through its parade of lovely charms of the nine members in a sensuous video. The members who enter the game world where the sound storage is broken go on a journey and wander around until they accidentally press a switch and shout “SWITCH ON!”

A mysterious heart light turns on along with the sound. The trailer ended with bears watching Mako, Rio, Maya, Riku, Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima, Miihi, and Nina as they opened the secret stage.

Expectations and attention are focused on NiziU’s new performance after pressing the exciting start signal “Press Play”.

NiziU is a girl group created through the global audition project – ‘Nizi Project’ conducted by JYP and Sony Music Entertainment in June 2020. Before their official debut, they were the first female artist to achieve first place in three categories simultaneously, including Oricon’s digital album, digital single, and streaming weekly chart, with their pre-debut digital album Make You Happy, the title song of the same name.

They brightened their reputation as a popular girl group by placing their work at the top of major local charts such as Oricon and Billboard Japan.

Recently, NiziU welcomed the spectacular finale of its second solo tour ‘NiziU Live with U 2023 “COCO! nut Fes.”‘ with a total of 17 shows in 8 cities in Japan.

Among these, the final performance held at Zozo Marine Stadium in Chiba Prefecture, Japan on September 17th and 18th was NiziU’s first stadium performance since its debut and attracted 60,000 fans over the two days.

As a result, NiziU attracted a total of 185,000 spectators in only its second solo tour. It boasted great local popularity by mobilizing such a tremendous number of audiences.

Meanwhile, NiziU’s first single album Press Play, which heralds another beginning, will be released at 6 PM on October 30.
