NU’EST Promises A “Happily Ever After” For LOVEs In First Full-Group Comeback In Three Years

A “happily ever after” awaits LOVEs as NU’EST announces its full group return for the first time in three years!

The three-year wait of fans of NU’EST will finally be over as the boy group drops the date of its highly-anticipated comeback this April.

JR, Aron, Baekho, Min Hyun, and Ren, through a 21-second prologue film, confirmed their return as a full group for the first time since their 2016 album Canvas. The video, which was unveiled on April 14, heightened fans’ curiosity for the boys’ upcoming new release as it features a mysterious mirror and woman whose clothing changed from white to black.

At the end of the prologue film, the words “Happily Ever After” and the date “2019.04.29” were seen, hinting at the album title and release date.

Then, on April 16, NU’EST opened a website dedicated to the comeback. The website takes on the visitors to a story which begins in “Once upon a time” and ends with “To be continued…”. Additionally, it shows a woman — seemingly a queen — and five knights before her.

At the same time as the site opened, the boy group dropped a teaser image for Happily Ever After with the caption “#1 A part of the story”.

NU’EST Takes Over South Korea’s Concert Stage for the First Time

The comeback announcement came on the final day of NU’EST’s Segno concerts in Seoul — the boys’ first full group concert since their debut. The boy group successfully wrapped up the shows which started on April 12 and ended on April 14 at the KSPO Dome.

About 36,000 fans filled the arena and saw the performance of JR, Aron, Baekho, Min Hyun, and Ren of their greatest hits including “Hello”, “Love Paint”, among others. The members also boasted unit and solo stages, delighting their adoring fans. Moreover, concert attendees witnessed the first look of the boy group’s upcoming comeback.

The boys concluded Segno with heartfelt gratitude to LOVEs. “It took eight years to perform at this big venue. Thank you for being with us on this dream stage,” the members said. They then expressed their desire to spend a lifetime with fans.
