Red Velvet’s Irene & Seulgi Share Fierce “Monster” Performance Videos

Red Velvet’s first sub-unit proves that they are indeed an iconic duo with “Monster” performance videos.

Irene and Seulgi are delivering captivating performances as they just debuted as a sub-unit of Red Velvet with their title track “Monster” in a series of videos.

Titled “Irene & Seulgi The Stage”, the videos exhibit two different unique performances for their newest song “Monster” in Top Note version and Middle Note version.

With a colorful background, Top Note version showcases the duo’s chemistry and synchronization, while sporting black and sophisticated ensembles.

The powerhouse sub-unit further delighted fans as they graciously presented their sultry routines in white, dazzling outfits, along with charismatic expressions in the Middle Note version.

As of July 9, 8 pm KST, the Top Note version has accumulated 1.8 million views on YouTube, while the Middle Note version already has over 2.2 million views.

With the aid of famous choreographers Janelle Ginestra and Rie Hata, Irene and Seulgi took their game up a notch as they executed their gripping concept, coupled with their exceptional charms.

Characterized with bold and intricate details, the choreography for “Monster” perfectly fits the mature image that the duo openly exhibits.

Soon after its long-awaited release, Monster took over the world by landing the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Album chart in 50 regions, including Ukraine, Hungary, Estonia and Belize and more.

Subsequently, the title track of the same name broke records by topping various Korean music streaming charts and China’s biggest music sites, QQ Music and KuGou Music.

Meanwhile, Irene and Seulgi will be promoting “Monster” on major music shows in South Korea such as MBC Show! Music Core and SBS Inkigayo.
