gugudan’s Sejeong Achieves Top Spot In Local & International Music Charts With Her First Mini Album “Plant”

Sejeong’s first mini album, Plant, smashes new records and attains new heights upon its global release.

On March 17, the talented K-pop girl group member and actress Kim Sejeong, released her first ever mini album Plant. It proves her well-established worldwide fame as her new project topped local music charts and scored impressive iTunes ranks overseas.

Respectively, Sejeong’s album, Plant, topped iTunes K-POP chart in Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. Her album also made it to the Top 10 chart of iTunes in eight countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore. Additionally, it also rules K-Pop album charts in United States, Britain and Canada. The album also achieved the fourth rank on the QQ Music K-Pop chart, China’s largest online music site.

gugudan’s Sejeong is notable for her charming, distinctive and excellent voice that shows wide spectrum of her talents. She is known to successfully hit both low and high notes. Sejeong likewise has a promising ability for songwriting as she composed the verses for the non-title tracks in her new album such as “Hopes For Tomorrow”, “Skyline”, “Swim Away” and “In My Dream”.

The milestone achieved by Sejeong is a great demonstration of her prominence and influence in music. Furthermore, her great prowess in singing sparks the admiration of the people. It proves that she captured not just the hearts of Korean fans but also international fans all around the world.
