SEVENTEEN And BTS To Take Part In Fuji TV’s “2020 FNS Music Festival – Summer”

SEVENTEEN and BTS will be making fans’ summer experience even more exciting as they join the line up of a Japanese song festival!

Popular boy groups SEVENTEEN and BTS will join well-respected Japanese artists in the upcoming 2020 FNS Music Festival – Summer by Fuji TV.

Two of K-Pop’s powerhouse groups will be bringing summer into fans’ homes as they participate in a special Japanese music broadcast this August.

AN ICONIC JAPANESE COMEBACK

Fuji TV Japan first surprised fans on August 20 with the announcement of SEVENTEEN’s participation in the yearly event.

While sporting their red and black ensemble clothing, the group enthusiastically invited fans to stream the show from their own homes.

Expected to draw attention, this will mark as the group’s first ever appearance on the virtual Japanese music festival show.

Moreover, SEVENTEEN will also unveil their upcoming single “24H” from their Japanese second mini album for the very first time since its announcement in July.

Slated for official release on September 9, “24H” specifically conveys the message that the boys’ will always be with their lovely CARATs no matter what happens.

SEVENTEEN also gave the audience a first listen to the dreamy track on August 18 through the Japanese radio show SCHOOL OF LOCK! by Tokyo FM.

Last June, the well-loved group also gifted their Korean fans with their newest single “Left & Right”, which achieved a record-breaking sales of 1.06 million stock pre-orders.

DOMINATING THE JAPANESE MUSIC SCENE ONCE AGAIN

Set to take over the stage, BTS also confirmed their appearance in the show through a notice posted on their official Japanese fan club website.

This will mark the septet’s second appearance in the said music festival since December 2019, where they performed two of their biggest hits “Fake Love” and “Boy With Luv.”

The talented boy group will be performing their latest Japanese track “Stay Gold”, which is from their fourth Japanese studio album Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey.

Moreover, BTS will also be gracing the stage with one of their smash hits titled “Mic Drop”, which topped various music charts worldwide shortly upon its release.

Just recently, the group released their newest single “Dynamite”, which has already achieved 56 million YouTube views as of writing.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the performances prepared meticulously by the groups were already pre-recorded in South Korea.

Meanwhile, the 2020 FNS Music Festival – Summer will air on August 26 via Fuji TV’s local channel starting at 6:30 PM KST.
