SEVENTEEN’s Jun Impressively Tops iTunes Charts In Various Regions With Chinese Solo Track “Silent Boarding Gate”
SEVENTEEN Jun’s newest digital single has been gaining engrossing response from listeners from different parts of the world!
SEVENTEEN member Jun proved his massive popularity by bagging a monumental feat with his solo digital single “Silent Boarding Gate”.
Two years since the release of his special single “Can You Sit By My Side” in December 2018, the SEVENTEEN member gifted fans with a new single titled “Silent Boarding Gate”. Released on February 14, at 6 PM KST, Jun quickly dominated various music charts.
Particularly, the track immediately ranked the Top 5 of iTunes Charts in five regions including Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Panama. It achieved an extraordinary feat by reaching the Top 10 in 14 different countries around the world, including Vietnam, Portugal, Philippines, Malaysia, and Brazil.
“Silent Boarding Gate” also quickly reached its highest peak at No. 1 on China’s largest music site QQ Music.
Apart from the charting success of “Silent Boarding Gate”, the pre release track “Crow” peaked No. 1 on iTunes chart in five regions, including Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam. It also entered the Top 10 in eight regions, including Poland, Finland, and Saudi Arabia. The track debuted No.1 on Melon World Music Daily Chart, making a new record for the singer.
Jun’s new solo track “Silent Boarding Gate” contains the story, “We, who live in time and space are trying to find a boarding gate towards a new beginning, which may lead us to the past, to the future, and to our dreams.”
In related news, SEVENTEEN is preparing for the release of their third Japanese single “Not Alone” on April 21.
