Pledis Entertainment, announced on March 1st the situation of SEVENTEEN’s leader.
“S.Coups underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and anterolateral ligament reconstruction due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee joint. Since it was a major surgery, he has been receiving rehabilitation treatment for a long period from last year to the present. Because of this, S.Coups was judged to be at grade 5 which exempts him from performing active military service.”
Consequently, S.Coups can continue his activities without a gap due to his exemption from military service. SEVENTEEN is set to make a comeback this April and more details will be announced soon.
On August 10 last year, S.Coups suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee joint while filming a ball game for content production.
Because of this, S.Coups was unable to participate in Seventeen’s 11th mini-album schedule and has been focusing on recovery and rehabilitation after surgery.
