According to their social media posts, Super Junior K.R.Y. will be releasing new music in the form of When We Were Us, a mini-album slated for release on June 8 at 6 PM KST. The teaser photos exuded opposite vibes, with the first one featuring flowers surrounded by a beige background. The second photo, meanwhile, showed a night sky set against a frame with dark blue color.

Notably, this release comes five years after the three singers joined forces for the single “Join Hands”. This is also the first physical album that the Super Junior sub-unit will be releasing fourteen years after they were established as a trio, as their discography in Korea consists mostly of their participation in different K-Drama soundtracks.

Prior to this release, the sub-unit toured Kobe and Fukuoka in Japan, Seoul in Korea, and Nanjing in China through the Super Junior-K.R.Y. Asia Tour ~Phonograph~. A second edition of the tour was conducted in various cities in Japan, which attracted 120,000 audience members overall.
