In the latest episode of NCT Life: Pep Rally, the boy group member broke down in tears, as he apologized for his past mistakes.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt when I was immature, thoughtless and inconsiderate,” Taeyong said in his black room interview.

The leader of NCT 127 was surrounded with controversy prior to his debut for reportedly scamming buyers on a auction website. According to reports, the idol not only shipped off purchased items, but also sent defective products under various user IDs. He charged unreasonable prices, and cursed at people asking for refund. The idol was further criticized for mocking a girl online for being overweight.

“I think a lot about all the regretful and shameful things I have done when I was younger before my debut,” he said. ” I have to do better so that I can be more confident and honorable in front of the other members who trust in me and like me.”

Taeyong also thanked his members for understanding him.
