TAN’s Jiseong Announces Departure from NTX and Victory Company

Jiseong, a talented rapper, songwriter, and producer known for his work with TAN and NTX, has announced his departure from both NTX and Victory Company. On December 11, 2024, Jiseong shared a heartfelt letter with fans on Instagram explaining the reasons behind his decision and his future plans. The announcement marks the end of a significant chapter in his career.

In his Instagram letter, Jiseong expressed deep gratitude for his time with Victory Company, which he joined at the age of 15, and for the support he received from his fans and the people who helped him along the way. He wrote:

“Hello, this is Jiseong.
The exclusive contract with Victory Company, which I’ve been with since I was 15 years old, has ended as of today, December 11, 2024.
After TAN’s disbandment, after much consideration regarding our differences and musical direction, we have come to this decision.
I hope that you will continue to support both me and NTX moving forward.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again to everyone who has helped and supported me.
Thank you.”

Jiseong made his debut as part of NTX in March 2021, and soon after, he was selected to be a member of the project group TAN through MBC’s survival show Wild Idol. TAN debuted in March 2022, where Jiseong contributed as a rapper, songwriter, and producer, with 14 writing and producing credits under his belt. TAN did not disband, but after the legal controversies surrounding Think Entertainment, the group paused their activities. Despite the break, TAN members have expressed hopes for a future reunion, with the group members pursuing individual activities and military enlistment in the meantime.

Following the conclusion of TAN’s activities in July 2024, Victory Company addressed Jiseong’s future with NTX, initially announcing a period of rest before resuming his activities with the group. Now, Jiseong’s decision to leave NTX and Victory Company reflects a divergence in musical direction and career paths.
