TREASURE Dominates iTunes Charts Worldwide With Debut Single “BOY”

YG Entertainment’s rookie boy group TREASURE is taking over the iTunes charts around the world with their grand music debut.

Recently, the twelve shining idols made their highly-awaited debut with their first single album THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE with “BOY” as their official title track.

Dominating the iTunes charts in various countries

Shortly after their debut release on August 7 at 6 PM KST, TREASURE successfully soared to the top of iTunes charts globally. The group’s very first single “BOY” topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 19 countries, including Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Peru, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, and more.

A Debut Masterpiece

Proving to be this year’s monster rookies, Choi Hyun Suk, Park Ji Hoon, Junkyu, Yoshi, Mashiho, Jae Hyuk, Asahi, Bang Ye Dam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeong Woo, and Jung Hwan delighted their long-awaiting fans with their debut music video for “BOY”.  The members shone brightly in their respective parts, proving how prepared they are to mark their name in the industry.

The title track narrates a story of a boy who boldly expresses his love for someone he likes. Composed by CHOICE37, HAE, Se.A, and R.Tee, members Choi Hyun Suk and Haruto participated in the rap making.
