TWICE With 3 Japan Golden Disc Awards Stand Top Among Girl Groups

TWICE once again prove to be Asian top girl group by banging three awards in Japan Golden Disc 2019.

On 26th of February, Japan Golden Disc honored K-pop acts by presenting them prestigious awards. TWICE became one of the chosen ones and stood at par with pride of being the only act to own five awards, including the previously achieved ones. The group scored Best 3 Album, song of the year and for their first full album BDZ.

They accepted their awards thanking their beloved ONES. “We are very grateful for giving us such a big award in continuation from last year.”

Furthermore, the nonet expressed their thoughts on the full album: “BDZ is not just our first album but a piece that shows various sides of TWICE. It was a hard work. Yet, we created it with a gratitude to our fans, so we are very happy many people have listened to it.”

In addition, TWICE will be releasing their new Japanese album #Twice 2 on coming March 6. The album is the continuation of their previous album Twice, which marked the birth of “Asian one-Top girl group” in Japan, which was released on 28 June 2017, making history by reaching the top of Oricon daily album chart and sold almost 250,00 copies.

#Twice 2 will be a collection of “Likey”, “Heart shaker”, “What is Love?”, “Dance the Night away” and “Yes or Yes” Japanese versions. The Korean singles “likey” and “What is love?” were prior released as Japanese tracks, hitting popularity by placing themselves in Top 100 chart.

TWICE DOME TOUR 2019 #Dreamday

A treat is yet to delight the Japanese ONCE as the girl group will be stopping in three local cities for a tour. TWICE DOME TOUR 2019 #Dreamday will be performed starting on March 29, at Osaka Kyocera Dome. Followed by Tokyo Dome on March 30 and Nagoya Dome on April 6. The performances will include the tracks from their latest album #Twice 2.
