TWICE’s Jihyo Reveals More Details On Her Solo Debut
Following her arresting teaser for the title track of ZONE, Jihyo of TWICE dropped the schedule and tracklist of her debut album!
Teasing fans with a promotional image on June 4 that suggested a potential new release in August, JYP Entertainment finally revealed Jihyo’s solo debut with a poster that featured the singer reapplying lipstick in a car mirror with the slogan ZYO’s ZONE “Killin’ Me Good”.
Before June ends, JYP Entertainment opened a surprise release announcement video on its official SNS channel, drawing the attention of ONCE (TWICE’s fandom name). The mosaic screen that covered part of Jihyo’s face was full of colorful scenes such as fluttering candles, sparkling heart lights, broken glass, and raging waves. It raised curiosity about the secret message of her solo music.
ZONE and “KILLIN’ ME GOOD,” which were hidden in the veil in the previously released poster, were revealed to be the name and title track of Jihyo’s solo debut album, respectively.
Hyping up the promotion of ZONE, the timetable unveiled details “Killin’ Me Good” spoilers and snippet to be released along with the opening trailer and tracklist from July 29 to August 4.
Thereafter, concept photos, an album preview, album sneak peeks, and M/V teasers will be released sequentially from August 7 to August 17.
Finally, on August 18, the full album and M/V of “Killin’ Me Good” will be released.

Jihyo’s ZONE
According to the tracklist shared, Jihyo’s debut album features seven songs.
Interestingly, at the bottom of each title, phrases hinting at the message of each song raises fans’ curiosity.
Through the new album, Jihyo plans to showcase her musicality. She participated in the songwriting process and showed off her music prowess in six of the tracks including the lead single.
In particular, “Talkin’ About It (Feat. 24kGoldn)”, and “Don’t Wanna Go Back (Duet with Heize)” draw attention from music fans around the world.
“Nightmare”, the last track in ZONE, is a song pre-released on the individual stage of TWICE’s 5th world tour READY TO BE.
“Killin’ Me Good” was written by JYP Entertainment’s representative producer, Park Jin-young, and the lyrics were completed with Jihyo’s unique personality, which expresses emotions realistically.

Meanwhile, Jihyo’s first solo album ZONE and the title song “KILLIN’ ME GOOD” will be released simultaneously worldwide on August 18 at 1 PM.
