TWICE Notches New Billboard Hot 100 Feat With “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE”
Showing off their steady global growth, TWICE decks pre-release English single, “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” on the Billboard Hot 100 main chart!
Accordingly, TWICE reaffirmed its worldwide popularity by placing both original English singles on the Hot 100 chart. In October 2021, the group’s debut English single “The Feels” ranked at 94th upon release.
Since the beginning of the year, JYP Nation’s prized girl group has been pouring out good records on various overseas charts, including Billboard.
As of January 20, the day of its release, “Moonlight Sunrise” entered the US Spotify Daily Top Songs chart at 39th, achieving its highest ranking.
In addition, it placed 60th with the highest number of daily streams on the global chart; topped the global chart on the Top Songs Debut Chart (Jan. Spotify Weekly Top Songs Chart (01.20~01.26); 74th on the US chart and 70th on the global chart.
As of January 23, TWICE set a new record for the longest-ranking music among K-pop girl groups with a cumulative chart of 96 days. They first appeared on November 12, 2021 on the Spotify Daily Top Artist US chart.
Just recently, TWICE became the first K-pop female artist to be on the list of winners of the 2023 Billboard Women In Music Awards.
