TWICE Sets A New Record For Girl Groups With “Feel Special”

By  |

TWICE continues to make everyone feel special through their comeback, and their performance on the music charts only proves it.

After being dethroned as the girl group with the highest first week sales by groups like BLACKPINK and IZ*ONE, TWICE takes the title back with their most recent comeback, Feel Special.

On September 30, Hanteo Charts reported that Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu sold 154,028 copies of their most recent release within their first week—beating the record they set with FANCY YOU by a considerable margin, which sold 151,051 copies on its first week.

Released on September 23, TWICE’s eighth mini album introduced ONCEs to new tracks like “Rainbow”, “Get Loud”, “Trick It”, “Love Foolish”, and of course: the highly-anticipated title track “Feel Special”. In addition, the girls prepared something special for fans with “21:29”, a song that they personally wrote, and the Korean version of their Japanese track “Breakthrough”.
