TWICE’s Nayeon To Drop New Album In June

TWICE’s Nayeon is set to mark her comeback after two years with the release of her new mini album NA on June 14.

JYP Entertainment unveils a logo motion teasing the launch of her 2nd mini album. The captivating poster, adorned with the phrase ‘HOW TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ‘NA’, shares that Nayeon will unveil her mini album ‘NA’ on the 14th of next month at 1 PM (00:00 Eastern time in the United States), as she embarks on her journey as a solo artist.

The title NA, crafted by Shin Bo-myeong, embodies Nayeon’s individuality, signifying “Me! Only me!” While her debut mini album IM NAYEON expressed the essence of “I am Nayeon”.

This album promises to showcase Nayeon’s bold charisma alluding to the message: “I will only show ‘me'”. The release schedule, unveiled alongside, boasts a rich lineup of teasers, starting with the tracklist on the 16th, followed by the album trailer on the 18th, concept photos from the 20th to 30th, album sneak peek on June 7th, and title song music video teaser on the 10th and 12th.

As TWICE’s first solo artist, Nayeon’s debut mini album IM NAYEON, released in June 2022, shattered records on both domestic and international charts. It soared to 7th position on the US Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200’, marking the highest achievement for a K-pop solo artist as of July 2022.

Additionally, the album made its mark across 18 Billboard categories, with the title song ‘POP!’ resonating well with the summer season and Nayeon’s vibrant energy, enjoying prolonged popularity atop real-time charts on music platforms such as Melon, Bugs, Genie, and Vibe.

TWICE has been on an upward trajectory, achieving milestones in album sales and performances, solidifying its status as a ‘global top girl group’. Their mini album ‘With YOU-th’, released in February, clinched the top spot on the ‘Billboard 200’ as of March 9 (local time), boasting 51 sales in 27 regions worldwide.

Additionally, their fifth world tour ‘TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE” has been met with success, with sold-out solo concerts at various stadiums across Japan, including Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, and the historic Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, making them the first K-pop girl group to headline a solo concert at the venue.
