Making the big reveal of an English version of the track “Cat & Dog” already underway, the agency shared a short clip of the group on midnight KST, which surprised a lot of their fans. Running for thirty-six seconds, the teaser featured the group’s maknae Huening Kai singing “turn me from a cat into a dog” from its original version’s super catchy chorus.

The original version of “Cat & Dog” was released on April 25 at 12 AM KST. As of writing, it has already garnered over 12 million views and 1.9 million likes on YouTube. It is a b-side track from their debut mini-album The Dream Chapter: STAR, which they had begun promoting on music shows recently after the success of their first track, also from the album, “Crown”.

Unlike the earlier edition of “Cat & Dog”, the teaser shows a different setting and styling on Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai – though it still contains the same fun and youthful energy from the five boys.

According to their agency’s announcement towards the official teaser clip’s end, the song’s English version and its music video will be released on May 3 at 6 PM KST. Additionally, with their USA showcase tour coming up soon, fans had raised their predictions on how likely it will be for the group to perform the song’s new version for the tour.
