Tzuyu Listed as the Most Popular K-Pop Idol in Taiwan

Twice’s popularity extends across borders!

Twice’s Tzuyu was recently voted as the most popular K-pop idol by local Taiwanese publication, The Liberty Times. The poll was compiled based on internet searches and social media. Tzuyu placed fourth on the overall list. 

The top three spots were claimed by the TV drama, ‘Descendants of the Sun’, and its actors Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo respectively. Park Yoochun of JYJ was fifth while Park Bo Gum ranked sixth.  Other ranked idols and actors include Black Pink and Gong Yoo as well. 

Tzuyu’s popularity reveals her image and career in Taiwan has not been hurt by her 2015 flag scandal that also caused Twice to be blacklisted from Chinese media.
