Wheein Dominates iTunes Charts Worldwide With “WHEE”

Proving her title as one of the best K-Pop female singers today, Wheein recently landed numerous feats on the charts with her second EP WHEE!

Powerhouse soloist Wheein remains truly unstoppable as she bags impressive accolades on the charts in conjunction with her recent comeback with WHEE.

Just recently, the stunning idol made her highly-awaited return to the industry with her second mini-album, WHEE. Spearheaded by the enthralling and dreamy title track, “Make Me Happy,” Wheein’s latest offering showcases her amazing artistry, amazing music prowess, and mesmerizing vocals.

Unveiled on January 16, the charismatic singer’s newest album quickly scored the No. 1 spot on iTunes’ Top Albums Chart in at least 18 countries.  These include Brazil, Brunei, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, and Romania, among many others.

WHEE also entered the same chart’s Top 10 list in at least 10 regions including Denmark, Cambodia, Ireland and Canada.

Adding to Wheein’s growing list of accolades, the album’s title track “Make Me Happy” also topped iTunes Top Song Charts in at least 8 countries around the world, including Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Peru, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.

As proof of the soloist’s existing popularity and influence, hashtags and words such as “MAMAMOO,” “WHEEIN,” “WHEE,” and “JUNG WHEEIN” trended on Twitter globally during Wheein’s comeback day. 


Demonstrating her versatility, Wheein caught the ears and hearts of many fans with her newest offering, WHEE. It consists of six different tracks falling under different genres, all of which showcase the artist’s amazing vocal abilities and techniques.

Written and composed by none other than Ravi, “Make Me Happy” talks about the feelings and emotions one experience while in love. It has a mellow and relaxing melody perfect for your chill and laid-back days.

Lyrics such as “You are mysterious in some way/Something strange/Continue to be mysterious/Secretly my heart’s being touched/You can hide a little more/I can Stand Everyday/I like that I care/You are mysterious” perfectly captures the meaning of the song.

As of current writing, the music video for “Make Me Happy” has already amassed 7.6 million views on the YouTube platform.

Meanwhile, Wheein will continue to promote hew newest title track on various shows in South Korea.
