October 5 marked the last day of the teasers for the newborn unit. Starship Entertainment uploaded the group’s latest video, which included a quick preview of the two songs on their track list.

The clip showed the highlights of both songs, along with a couple undisclosed photos of the members. The cute music captured the attention of fans, further hyping them for the tracks’ full versions.

The main number “HMPH!” is a vintage disco pop piece with a catchy beat and bubbly sound. In addition, Kim Dohoon and Seo Yongbae from RBW participated as producers to create the cheerful melody.

Meanwhile, the second song “Ya Ya Ya” is originally the hit song from first-generation K-pop girl group Baby V.O.X. The piece was reinterpreted in order to match the color of CHOCOME and was added to their set list.

The song was arranged in a tropical and moombahton style, all the while expressing the members’ distinctive vocals in a charming way.

The short preview managed to capture the cheerful and lively atmosphere of the unit. The highlights presented addictive tunes, raising the expectations for the quartet and gathering the public’s attention.

WJSN CHOCOME, formed from members Luda, Yeoreum, Soobin and Dayoung, is about to make its debut with the single album HMPH! on October 7.
