Wonho Tops Japan’s Oricon Weekly Albums Chart With His Debut Album “Love Synonym”

Wonho proves why he is indeed a king after he reigns on multiple music charts with his first mini album!

Wonho, who released his debut album Love Synonym (#1) Right for Me on September 4, has been successfully dominating music charts across the globe. The album has continued to soar and has been topping charts into the 3rd week of September as well.

According to Oricon Chart, Japan’s largest album sales and aggregation site, Wonho’s debut album Love Synonym (#1) Right for Me has taken the top spot in the September three-week weekly album rankings compiled from September 7 to September 13.

Similarly, the album showcased its worldwide popularity after it placed first on the Hanteo Weekly Global Chart, the world’s only real-time music chart during the September 3-week chart compiled last week (September 14- September 20).

Moreover, at the time of its release, the debut album set at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart in various regions including U.S, UK, India, Germany, France, Canada, Australia and Brazil. It also topped in 20 countries around the world on the iTunes Top K-POP chart. It came in at the Top 3 in 10 other regions such as Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong as well.

In addition, the album’s title song “Open Mind” ranked at No. 4 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart while the album itself ranked 9th on the Billboard World Albums Chart as well as on the Heatseekers Chart at No. 19, Album Sales Chart at No. 81, placed at No. 28 on the Emerging Artists Chart, and ranked at No. 51 on the Current Album Sales Chart.

Meanwhile, Wonho is planning to meet fans around the world through his first online solo concert WONHO SPECIAL LIVE #IWONHOYOU. The exciting event will be held through the global streaming platform LiveXLive on September 27 at 12 PM KST.
