Woo!ah! To Usher In The Summer With Their First Mini-Album “JOY”

Girl group, woo!ah!, teases a bright release with the highlight medley for their first mini-album, JOY.

To match the summer season, woo!ah! will unveil a bright mini-album titled, JOY. The project, which is also the group’s first mini-album release, includes six tracks, highlighting their versatility while delivering woo!ah!’s signature refreshing sound.

Ahead of their comeback on June 9, the group delivered the album highlight medley, providing fans with a taste of their new music to come. Additionally, the video highlighted the members’ captivating visuals and commanding performance skills.

Bringing JOY To Fans

The highlight began with the album’s title track, “Danger”. The song compares the allure of a lover to something sweet, pointing to this temptation as dangerous. The upbeat tune will provide another opportunity for the members to showcase their energetic stage charisma and concept digestion.

Track two is titled, “Joyride”. The song delivers the peppy, bouncy appeal of woo!ah! tracks with its synth sound and head-bopping melody. The playful arrangement conveys exciting and fluttering feelings, like flying.

Next, “Go Away” takes a slower approach with a rhythmical base and an earworm melody during its drops. The track will highlight a blunt, outspoken attitude from the members, contributing to the song’s overall confidence.

“Switch Up” livens the project with its uptempo groove, boasting a funky guitar riff. The song communicates the message, “Let’s dance as much as you want and live freely”. This message is further emphasized by the song’s exuberant sound.

“Straight Up” features a prominent drum sound. The members’ group harmony and shouts emit the group’s sincerity and hope to fans.

Lastly, the album concludes with “Catch The Stars”, a track released in January. The song portrayed woo!ah!’s high-teen appeal, casting a light on the members’ radiant energy and stage presence.
