Young K Pens All Tracks In Day6’s Third Mini Album

Day6 is gearing up for its anticipated return with a new mini album!

South Korean band Day6 reveals the tracklist for upcoming extended play Shoot Me: Youth Part 1 out on June 26.

The EP will contain a total of six songs with an additional instrumental version of the title track “Shoot Me” only available on CD.


The members actively contributed in the production of the songs. Member Young K takes on the role of lyricist for the band’s EP, penning all six tracks.

Together with Young K, Jae, Wonpil, Sungjin, and Dowoon also participated in the upcoming mini album as composers.

Moreover, Day6 once again worked with producers Hong Ji Sang and Lee Woo Min (collapsedone) in the completion of the album.

Shoot Me: Youth Part 1 comes six months after the release of the band’s second studio album Moonrise which contained a total of 18 tracks — ten came from its monthly releases via Every Day6 and five final versions of the songs from its first EP The Day.

On June 15, the band will begin unveiling the teaser images of its members, beginning with Sungjin. Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon will follow on the succeeding days.

Unit teasers and a group teaser will be out on June 20 and 21, respectively. June 22 will see the coming out of an album spoiler video, while June 25 will see the release of the music video teaser for “Shoot Me”.

Day6 will mark its return on June 25 with an album and MV release. The band will also greet fans via a V Comeback Live broadcast.


Additionally, Day6 will kick off its 1st  Tour ‘Youth’ on June 22 to 24 in Seoul.
